Ragtime-Tateh
"Matthew Curiano tugs heartstrings as the Latvian-Jewish immigrant, Tateh. He develops Tateh's sweetness and easy good humor as integral elements of his character, but grounds his portrayal first and foremost in one of his earliest lines: "The little girl was all he had now." Tateh's role as devoted father serves as the basis for his each and every action, even when his fortunes change for the better, and Curiano fully conveys the depths of paternal dedication and sacrifice."

“Matthew Curiano portrayed hopeful immigrant, Tateh. At moments Mr. Curiano gave renditions likened to Mandy Patinkin or Lin Manuel Miranda, all while giving
a truly genuine performance.”

Seussical- Cat in the Hat

“Most of all be sure to see Matthew Curiano as the Cat in the Hat. We are lucky to have such exceptional talent here. I hope we can keep him for years to come, but I’m sure that he is destined for much, much more. Go to see him while you can. He is the quintessential Cat in the Hat.”

Guys and Dolls- Nathan Detroit

“Curiano is a standout from the moment he walks on stage to the last sneeze. He takes what is often a caricature and, makes his stereotypical character live, breathe, and stress over the crap game and his real love for Adelaide.”

“Together, Curiano and Daly manage to make their characters human and funny while keeping the ditzy dame and inveterate conman front and center.”
